Arctic Youth is a pro-active expedition program, which creates the opportunity for young talented filmmakers to make their first steps in filming Arctic wildlife & landscape under the guidance and mentorship of highly experienced filmmakers and expedition leaders. Keeping the lowest possible footprint, teaching sustainable practices, admiring and respecting nature and wildlife is part of engaging Youth to become the next generation of nature advocates and polar explorers.
Taking part in expeditions above the Arctic Circle in Iceland, Norway, Greenland, Finland, Spitsbergen, Canada, Alaska, Sweden and Russia, accompanied by a professional crew, award-winning filmmakers and supported by high-profile mentors, young filmmakers are empowered and equipped with skills, courage, knowledge and wisdom that are preparing them to take matters into their own hands; raising public awareness, taking leadership, promoting conservation of biodiversity and building a natural history film network among the Arctic nations.

Breaking the Ice for Expedition Sailors
Arctic Yachts was founded by Peter Madej - captain with over 200.000 Nm logged on expedition yachts, super yachts and ocean racing yachts. The past years Peter focused on the Arctic and extensively sailed in Greenland, North-West Passage, Svalbard, Iceland and Arctic Norway, providing a professional floating platform for filmmakers, photographers, athletes, divers, explorers and charter guests who are passionate about the Arctic.
Arctic Yachts is committed in educating and engaging the next generation of conservationists and explorers. With the support and expertise of Arctic Yachts and their crew, mentors and friends,- Arctic Youth will set sail in spring of 2022 on nine different expeditions in the Arctic. Youth has the opportunity to experience the Arctic Circle, learn environmental and social values, witness nature and wildlife, document climate change and travel responsible.
